Marengo Fire & Rescue Association
The Marengo Fire & Rescue Association is comprised of active members of the Fire & Rescue Districts. They take extreme pride in supporting the community any way possible. Throughout the year, the Association donates its funds to the Marengo community to support projects, organizations, and families in need. Events are held throughout the year to build funds for the association. Such events include the Captain Steve Berry Golf Outing which is held during July every year.

Annual Captain Steve Berry Golf Outing
Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts Captain Steve Berry was someone who had the biggest heart, loved the fire service and loved his family. The Elgin, Marengo and Carpentersville fire departments supported Steve Berry through his fight with cancer with the “Berry Strong” fundraiser. Proceeds from the event are used by the Marengo Fire & Rescue Association to donate to local first responders with cancer. Everything goes to a great cause.
