The Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts offers reflective address signs designed to make residential addresses easier to identify from the roadway. Each sign is made of durable aluminum and covered with an engineer-grade reflective laminate for increased visibility when illuminated by vehicle headlights or emergency lighting.
Reflective address signs can be especially helpful for homes with long driveways, addresses that are set back from the roadway, rural properties, or locations where existing house numbers may be difficult to see. Trees, landscaping, snow, darkness, and other conditions can also make traditional address numbers harder for emergency responders to locate.
Beyond emergencies, a clearly marked address can make your property easier to find for postal carriers, delivery drivers, utility workers, and visitors. Proceeds from the sale of address signs help support the purchase of new equipment for the Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts.
Any sign purchased for property or address OUTSIDE of Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts will need to be picked up and installed by the owner.
